Why is it that when you give an order to a broker he feels the need to shop you every single piece of merchandise on his desk that day? I don’t see flow from some of these guys for weeks and then I give a guy one ticket and I have to see every two-thousand share ticket that comes across his desk that day. Here’s a tip guy… Just because I gave you one order doesn’t mean we’re turning over the entire portfolio or liquidating. Here’s an idea – try focusing on the order I just gave you.
You’re like the family dog that just lays there motionless by the fireplace until somebody picks up your tennis ball and throws it. You don’t stop. You just keep bringing it back to me. And if I ignore you, you just sit there staring at me with drool coming out of your mouth until I respond.
I don’t mind throwing the ball a couple times but back the fuck off – Cause until you start bringing me my slippers, you ain’t sleeping on my bed.
