It’s either a perfectly timed one-liner, a ridiculous pick-up line gone awry or just something funny that stands out in your mind from after a night out with the guys – but whatever it is, there’s usually at least one thing that make you laugh whenever you think about it.
Last night’s line of the night came in the form of a text message. The text came from a client who I was out with. It was about 2:30am and an hour after I poured him into the back of a car service headed for home.
The text is great on many levels but I love the fact that it came from from a person who was adamant about how he hadn’t had too much to drink and was “fine”. I can still hear him now while we were pushing him into the back seat like a prisoner into the back of a squad car and closing the car door on him, “I’m fine. It’s early! It’s still early!” Now keep in mind that he only has one phone.
Here’s the text that came about an hour later: “DISREGARD LAST 2 TXT MESSAGES I FOUND THE PHONE”
